August 9, 2004 will be the thirty-fifth anniversary of what is notoriously known as the first night of the "Manson Family Murders."
When, in 2003, E! Entertainment Television ranked the 101 Most Shocking Moments in Entertainment, the murder of Sharon Tate was listed at number nine. The gruesome crimes are well known virtually world wide and remain frequent topics of conversation. Many internet sites are dedicated to the victims of the "Familys'" killers.
Incredibly, and for reasons unknown to all but the members of such, there are also several websites dedicated to one of the worst criminals in recent times, Charles Manson. He still has followers to this day, and continues to be worshiped or idolized by some!
Charles "Tex" Watson, the only male who was both present, and participated at both murder scenes, also represents some sort of "snake oil" ministry in prison. His wife, yes wife, with whom he exchanged nuptials in prison, and subsequently through conjugal visits fathered four, yes four! children, maintains the online "ministry" from her home near the prison where her husband is incarcerated. Fortunately, the conjugal visits were finally terminated by new laws. It is beyond some of us, how this mass murderer could be allowed to reproduce, while his victims have been six feet under ground for the past thirty-five years. Totally outrageous!
Susan Atkins, another of the cold-hearted killers is also married, to an attorney, who represents her at her parole hearings. Thankfully, he is evidently a man with little talent for persuasion. Fortunately, Atkins has been denied each time.

CrimeShots © is a digest compiled from a broad spectrum of opinion, news, and media resources.
CrimeShots © cares about victims. Oftentimes, after a murder is committed, the killer is arrested and all the attention suddenly focuses solely on him/her. The victim is soon forgotten. Most of us know the names of many notorious killers, however, it is quite likely that we could name only a very few of their victims. To forget them is heartbreaking, especially for their families.
--May we ALL remember the victims ALWAYS--
and
--May they all rest in peace, FOREVER-
It's the action, not the fruit of the action,
that's important. You have to do the right thing.
It may not be in your power, may not be in your time,
that there'll be any fruit.
But that doesn't mean you stop doing the right thing.
You may never know what results come from you action.
But if you do nothing, there will be no result.
