Famous with her enormous brown eyes and a dazzling smile. At the time of her death, she was known as one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.

In high school, she was a cheerleader, baton twirler, star basketball player, and played Juliet in the school production of Romeo and Juliet. She was also voted Homecoming Queen and Senior Prom Queen.

Malibu Barbie modeled on her character 'Malibu' in the film DON'T MAKE WAVES (1967).

She was originally cast in the role of Billie Jo on Petticoat Junction, but she walked away from the show on advice from her manager (Martin Ransohoff). He didn't feel it was a good launching pad for her career.

In THE CINCINNATI KID (1965) the extra who was to appear nude was star-to-be, Sharon Tate. She disappeared from the film along with Peckinpah.

Directed by Roman Polanski, whose pregnant wife, the actress Sharon Tate was in 1969 murdered by Charles Manson and his followers, who titled their death spree Helter Skelter after the 1968 song by The Beatles, whose leader, John Lennon, who would one day live (and in 1980 be murdered) in the Manhattan apartment building called The Dakota---where ROSEMARY'S BABY (1968) had been filmed.

After she was murdered by Charles Manson around the time of the making of MACBETH (1971), it is believed that due to this traumatic event, Polanski developed the story to be a more violent representation of Shakespeare's play. For instance, the scene in which Macbeth murders King Duncan was not in the original play and was instead implied.

Roman Bridger, the director of stab, complains about forever being associated with the murders of his cast. This is possibly a reference to Roman Polansky, who his forever famous for his attachment to the murder of his wife, Sharon Tate, in the Tate-Labianca murders committed by the Manson Family (SCREAM 3-2000)

She appears unbilled at the party Rosemary gives for her young friends.

TESS (1979) was dedicated to Polanski's wife Tate, who was murdered under orders from 'Manson, Charles'. Tate gave Polanski a copy of the novel as she boarded the liner back to the United States, the last time they would see each other.
